UrSU Students Became Winners of the International Mathematics Olympiad


From November 26 to November 30, 2025, the “RUDN MATH OLYMP” international mathematics olympiad for students was held in Moscow, Russian Federation.

A team of four students from Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, led by Islombek Ismailov, a teacher of the Department of Mathematical Analysis, actively participated and won a total of 4 medals. Specifically, they earned 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals in the individual competition.

Anvarbek Masharipov – 4th-year student of the Mathematics Education program, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics — recipient of a First-Degree Diploma and Gold Medal;

Sherzodbek Saidov – 3rd-year student of the Applied Mathematics program, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics — recipient of a Second-Degree Diploma and Silver Medal;

Hojiakbar Sobirov – 3rd-year student of the Mathematics Education program, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics — recipient of a Third-Degree Diploma and Bronze Medal;

Muslima Davronbekova – 3rd-year student of the Mathematics Education program, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics — recipient of a Third-Degree Diploma and Bronze Medal.
