A meeting on combating drug abuse among youth was held at Urgench State University
On December 2, the First Vice-Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, D.Ibadullayev, held a meeting with deputy deans and tutors regarding the priority areas of Uzbekistan’s National Strategy for Combating Drug Abuse and Drug-Related Crimes for 2024–2028.
During the meeting, the essence and content of Presidential Decree No. 207, “On comprehensive measures to effectively protect public health and the nation’s gene pool from drug abuse and drug-related crime,” were thoroughly explained.
In addition, responsible staff members were given instructions on systematically organizing spiritual and educational activities aimed at preventing drug abuse among students and young people.
