Urdu Students — Champions of Uzbekistan!
The Uzbekistan Indoor Athletics Championship among adults and U-20 youth continues in Andijan with intense competitions.
It is gratifying that student athletes from Urgench State University are also actively participating in this championship with high results.
Khursandbek Mamatsalayev, a student of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology, left everyone behind and became the Gold Medalist in the U-20 triple jump competition. One of the most striking results of the competition was that he left his closest rival behind by 1 meter 2 centimeters.
Also, Sardor Adamboyev, a student of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology, crossed the finish line first in the 60-meter final of the competition with a result of 7.05 seconds. This also improved his result in the qualifying round (7.19) by 0.14 seconds. Thus, he won the Gold Medal and became the CHAMPION OF UZBEKISTAN.
