The “March 8 – International Women’s Day” was celebrated at Urgench State University

Today, on March 7, a festive event dedicated to “March 8 – International Women’s Day” was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni.
The celebration was opened by the Acting Rector of the university, D.Ibadullayev, who sincerely congratulated all women and girls of the university community on this special occasion.

As part of the event, a concert program was presented as a symbol of respect and appreciation for women. The audience enjoyed performances by the People's Hafiz of Uzbekistan and Professor of the Department of Arts O.Matchanov, the department’s lecturer and holder of the “Shuhrat” medal U.Bobojonov, as well as the “Jayhun” Orchestra led by conductor I. Karimov, a winner of national and international competitions. In addition, entertaining performances were presented by the "QVZ" team of the Faculty of Foreign Philology.
