Rector’s Meetings with Faculty Teams Have Begun
The Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrakhimova, began her first meetings with faculty teams at the Faculties of Telecommunication Technologies and Computer Engineering.
During the meeting, the Rector stated her readiness to continuously support faculty members in their academic and research activities, particularly in creating conditions for dissertation defenses and in the preparation of textbooks and teaching materials. She also emphasized that professors who prepare students for international and national Olympiads will be fully encouraged and supported.
Special attention was given to strengthening regular work with undergraduate and graduate students based on the mentor–mentee tradition. In addition, the importance of further improving the quality of education, supporting talented students’ ideas, properly guiding gifted students toward IT and artificial intelligence fields, and fostering their innovative projects was highlighted.
The meeting was held in an open dialogue format, where faculty members’ proposals, initiatives, and existing challenges were discussed, and specific measures were identified to address them.
