The Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrakhimova, visited the Faculty of Engineering, where she got acquainted with the existing conditions, quality of education, and the state of laboratories.
In particular, the current condition of the faculty’s infrastructure, classrooms, and the material and technical base of modern laboratories were thoroughly reviewed. Presentations of innovative projects developed by students of the Architecture program were observed. The teaching process was monitored, and discussions were held with students.
Additionally, the rector visited laboratories such as “Electrical and Electronic Systems of Vehicles,” “Machine Elements,” “Agricultural Machinery,” and “Transport Systems.” It was noted that students in these laboratories effectively combine theoretical knowledge with practical application. Responsible staff were given specific instructions to further improve modern and comfortable conditions for researchers and students.
During the meeting with the faculty members, the rector closely reviewed the scientific potential across departments and emphasized her constant readiness to support the academic and research activities of professors. Particular attention was paid to improving conditions for the preparation and defense of dissertations.
Tasks were set to further expand the faculty’s scientific and material-technical capabilities, to develop engineering and technical sciences in line with modern requirements, and to widely implement innovative approaches—especially expanding laboratories in the field of electrical energy. It was also emphasized that events planned within the framework of “Engineering Month” in April should be held at a high level, with active involvement of talented students.
