These days, the Women Rectors’ Forum is being held in the city of Melaka, Malaysia, under the theme “Enhancing the Capacity of Women Scientists in Ensuring Innovation and Sustainable Development: Uzbekistan–Malaysia Higher Education Cooperation.”
The forum is attended by Karomiddin Gadoyev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, as well as rectors and vice-rectors of higher education institutions from Uzbekistan and Malaysia. The Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrakhimova, is also participating in the forum. During the discussions, participants exchanged views on the opportunities being created for women in science and on strengthening mutual cooperation between the two countries.
Within the framework of the forum, an important agreement aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation was signed between Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urgench State University, and Professor Massila Binti Kamalrudin, Rector of the Melaka Technical University, Malaysia.
This forum plays a significant role in elevating cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia in the fields of higher education, science, and innovation to a new level.
Following the forum, a meeting was held with compatriots—Uzbek students studying at various universities in Malaysia. During the meeting, the Rector of UrSU spoke with the students, encouraging them to gain strong knowledge in their respective fields and wishing them success in becoming highly qualified specialists who will contribute to the development and prosperity of Uzbekistan.
