Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan Meets with UrSU Students
At Urgench State University, an open and sincere dialogue was held with students, featuring one of the prominent representatives of journalism in Uzbekistan — Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, Shuhrat Oripov.
The meeting was organized within the framework of “Media Week” and was actively attended by a number of well-known journalists and creative professionals from the region.
During the discussion, Shuhrat Oripov provided detailed information about new projects being implemented by the Union of Journalists, various competitions, support mechanisms for young journalists, as well as current issues in the modern media space.
He also emphasized that achieving success in journalism requires continuous self-improvement, extensive reading, and strong proficiency in foreign languages. Important recommendations were given on further developing the “I Will Become a Journalist Too” club and elevating it to a more advanced, club-level format.
During the event, students received comprehensive answers to their questions.
