A Republican Scientific and Practical Conference is Being Held at Urgench State University

Today, at Urgench State University, a republican scientific and practical conference titled “Sustainable Development in Light Industry: Innovations and New Approaches” has commenced, initiated by the Department of Light Industry Technologies of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies.

At the opening of the conference, the Rector of the university, Feruza Madrahimova, delivered a speech, emphasizing the relevance and importance of this scientific and practical event in today’s context. She also highlighted the attention being paid by the country’s leadership to the development of the light industry sector, as well as the large-scale reforms and opportunities being created.

The conference is attended by scholars, specialists, and researchers from leading higher education institutions and research centers across the republic, including Bukhara State Technical University, Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, Namangan State Technical University, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Karakalpak State University, and Termez University of Engineering and Agrotechnologies.

During the conference, participants are discussing issues related to the development of the light industry sector, the introduction of innovative technologies, and increasing production efficiency based on modern approaches. The event is moderated by Professor M.Jumaniyazov.

At the plenary session, experts delivered presentations on topical issues. In particular, topics such as scientific research in the textile and light industry sector, environmental safety, modernization of production technologies, and the implementation of innovative developments into practice were extensively covered.
