A Fine Arts and Applied Arts Gallery to Be Established at the University


The Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrahimova, visited and reviewed the activities of the workshops in the areas of Fine Arts (easel painting) and Applied Arts (artistic ceramics) within the Faculty of Philology and Arts.

During the visit, the existing conditions, the organization of the educational process, and the opportunities created for students were thoroughly reviewed. The Rector put forward several important initiatives aimed at further developing these fields, strengthening the creative environment, creating modern and comfortable conditions for students, and equipping the workshops with additional necessary equipment.

In addition, in order to widely promote works of visual art, it is planned to establish a Fine Arts and Applied Arts Gallery at the university, as well as to organize creative exhibitions of professors and students on the last Friday of each month.

The Rector also engaged in dialogue with students and faculty members conducting classes in the workshops, listening to their opinions, suggestions, and concerns. Based on the feedback received, relevant instructions were given regarding the implementation of future plans.
