Rector Meets with the Faculty of Foreign Philology Team
On April 17, the Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrahimova, held another meeting within the framework of ongoing faculty-level engagements with the team of the Faculty of Foreign Philology.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the faculty, Zohid Jumaniyozov, presented a detailed report on the faculty’s activities. The report provided comprehensive information on the quality of education, scientific research, international cooperation, achieved results, and priority tasks for the future.
During the discussion, the Rector analyzed the state of scientific potential across departments and emphasized that she is always ready to support faculty members in the process of defending their dissertations. The importance of combining research with teaching activities was also highlighted.
In addition, issues such as ongoing international projects, foreign language clubs, student participation in international olympiads and competitions, publication of textbooks and teaching materials, and the improvement of mentor-mentee traditions were thoroughly discussed.
During the open and constructive meeting, the proposals and initiatives of faculty members were heard, and practical measures were identified to address existing challenges.
