The rector awarded the winners of the final stage of the Presidential Olympiad

Today, Urgench State University hosted an award ceremony for student-athletes who successfully participated and achieved high results in the republican final stage of the “Students of New Uzbekistan Olympiad” sports competitions.

As is known, from June 4 to 9 of this year, the Republican final stage of the "New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad" sports competitions was held in Tashkent. Student-athletes of Urgench State University participated worthily in this prestigious competition, achieved high results in a number of sports, and took 2nd place in the national team standings.

Rector of the University Feruza Madrahimova spoke at the event and congratulated the athletes and their coaches on the high results achieved. It was noted that this achievement is a practical result of the potential of students in the field of sports, the effective work of coaches, and the systematic work carried out at the university to develop sports.

During the award ceremony, the university leadership expressed gratitude to the student athletes and their coaches, and cash prize vouchers and letters of appreciation from the rector were presented.

This achievement became another important result of the efforts of Urgench State University to develop sports, increase the physical activity of young people and support talented athletes.
