New Artificial Intelligence laboratory to be established at UrSU
Today, representatives of JSCB "Agrobank", led by Khondamirbek Begmatjonov, head of the Business and digital products complex, visited Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni.
As part of the visit, the university's rector Feruza Madrahimova, and representatives of Agrobank held discussions on the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence laboratory at the University, which is planned to be created with the sponsorship of Agrobank.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the commissioning of the laboratory at the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year, its outfitting with modern technologies and the necessary technical equipment, as well as measures to ensure its effective operation.
The laboratory is being established within the new academic building of the faculty of Intellectual sciences and technologies, which is currently under construction at the University. It will serve as an important platform for strengthening students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and innovative solutions, while also fostering research activities and contributing to the development of a modern IT ecosystem at the University.
