Today, August 24, 13 new student dormitories were commissioned across the country. The official opening ceremony was organized centrally via the Zoom platform and held simultaneously in several regions.
Abu Rayhan Beruni Urgench State University also took part in this historic event. A new modern five-story student dormitory with a capacity of 400 students, built under a public-private partnership, was commissioned on the territory of the Al-Khwarizmi complex in Urgench.
Most importantly, the commissioning of this new facility became a worthy and wonderful gift to students and young people on the eve of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Feruza Madrahimova, Rector of the University, along with distinguished and veteran professors, members of the University Council, faculty members, and the builders who worked devotedly on the construction of the new building.
The facilities being created for students provide all the necessary amenities for their education, recreation, and well-being.
Urgench State University is beginning the new academic year with a renewed spirit and new achievements!
