The “Independence Lesson” is being held at Urgench State University

Today, the first classes of the 2026–2027 academic year at Urgench State University began with “Independence Lessons” under the motto: “As one nation and one people, we will create a new life and a new future together!”

The first lesson was conducted by the university rector, Feruza Madrahimova, for first-year students of the Faculty of History and Law. She provided students with detailed information about the historical significance of our country’s independence, the wide-ranging reforms implemented during the years of independence, the stages of the country’s development, and the achievements being made today.

The rector also encouraged young people to acquire modern knowledge and skills, make a meaningful contribution to the development of the country, and live with a strong sense of loyalty to and responsibility for their homeland.

The “Independence Lessons” are continuing across all faculties of the university.
