The Rector Met with the Staff of the Information and Resource Center
Today, Feruza Madrahimova, Rector of Urgench State University, held a meeting with the staff of the university’s Information and Resource Center.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dilrabo Tajimurotova, Director of the Information and Resource Center, delivered a presentation on the work carried out during the 2025–2026 academic year and the key priorities to be implemented in the 2026–2027 academic year.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to increasing the involvement of professors, teaching staff, and students in library activities, ensuring their membership in the Information and Resource Center, and making effective use of the existing library collection.
The level of provision of textbooks and study materials for students and teaching staff, the enrichment of the collection with new fiction, the acquisition of contemporary literature, and further strengthening of the material and technical facilities were also discussed in detail.
Rector Feruza Madrahimova emphasized the important role of the Information and Resource Center in improving the quality of education at the university. She outlined relevant tasks aimed at creating a more comfortable environment for readers, promoting a culture of reading, and making effective use of the available resources and opportunities.
At the end of the meeting, the suggestions and initiatives of the staff were heard, and relevant instructions were given to those responsible.
