Rector of Urgench State University took an active part in the Fourth Uzbekistan–Belarus interparliamentary forum
Events within the framework of the Fourth Uzbekistan–Belarus Interparliamentary Forum are taking place in the city of Khiva. The forum is aimed at further developing interparliamentary relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus, as well as discussing prospects for cooperation in the fields of humanities, education, science, tourism, industry, and other areas.
As part of the forum, a meeting was organized on the topic “Strategic Partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the Humanitarian and Social Spheres: Opportunities and Prospects.” The Rector of Abu Rayhan Biruni Urgench State University, Feruza Madrahimova, participated in this prestigious event accompanied by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Oybek Sotiboldiyev.
During the meeting, the current state and future prospects of cooperation between the two countries in higher and vocational education, scientific research, healthcare, innovation, and other priority areas were discussed.
The forum was also of great importance for Urgench State University in terms of establishing new partnerships and further strengthening existing cooperation.
In particular, within the framework of the forum, an agreement aimed at developing cooperation was signed between Abu Rayhan Biruni Urgench State University and Integral OJSC, one of Belarus’s leading manufacturing enterprises.
In addition, the university’s cooperation with leading higher education institutions in Belarus reached a new stage. In particular, relevant agreements aimed at further expanding cooperation were signed with Brest State Technical University and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
These agreements create new opportunities for developing cooperation between the parties in the areas of education, scientific research, academic exchange, joint projects, innovative developments, as well as the integration of higher education and industry.
