Scientists from the Department of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre of the Faculty of Engineering at Urgench State University, in cooperation with Martin Luther University in Halle, Germany, have successfully secured the DAAD-funded international project “FRAKWA.”
Today, the first seminar of the “FRAKWA” international project was held with the participation of scientists from our university and leading scientific institutions of Germany.
During the seminar, views were exchanged on pressing issues related to salinization, water scarcity, the rational use of land and water resources, and ensuring agricultural sustainability under conditions of climate change. Modern scientific approaches, international experience, and prospective areas of cooperation in these fields were also discussed.
The “FRAKWA” project is aimed at adapting to salinization and water scarcity under conditions of climate change, increasing agricultural sustainability, and implementing modern scientific solutions in practice.
The discussions held within the framework of the seminar are serving as an important platform for scientific knowledge exchange, the development of joint research, and the formation of new international projects between UrSU scientists and foreign partners.
