The rector discussed the prospects for scientific cooperation with German scientists.
Today, the Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrahimova, met with Prof. Dr. Christopher Conrad, Head of the Geoecology Center at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, and members of his team — Dr. Michael Zierdt, Dr. Muhammad Usman, Jan Lukas Wenzel, and Franz Schulze.
During the meeting, the parties discussed further strengthening the scientific cooperation established between Urgench State University and Martin Luther University, expanding joint research activities, and creating new academic opportunities for young scientists and researchers.
The participants also exchanged views on the scientific and practical significance of the “FRAKWA” and “KlimWARN” international projects, which are being implemented jointly by researchers from both universities.
