Artificial Intelligence laboratory: from ideas to innovative projects

The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Abu Rayhan Biruni Urgench State University is becoming an important research and innovation hub where students can test their ideas, work on new projects, and develop promising startups.

Notably, devices developed based on students' startup ideas have already entered the market and are bringing tangible benefits to society.

One such example is the “Smart Boiler” device. This innovative solution was developed to automate coal-fired heating boilers. The device can be controlled remotely via a smartphone, allowing users to conveniently monitor and manage the heating process. Currently, the device is being tested in 15 households.

The “Smart Temperature Sensor” is another innovative device designed to measure the inlet and outlet temperatures of heating boilers installed in government offices, organizations, schools, and preschool educational institutions. The device transmits the collected data to the local government's Situation Center, where the information is analyzed to monitor the efficiency of heating systems. This system helps identify heating-related problems in a timely manner, monitor energy consumption, and improve heating efficiency. Currently, the device has been installed in the city of Urgench, as well as in schools and kindergartens in the city of Andijan and Andijan district of Andijan region.
