Today, November 4, "University Championship" sports competitions in chess, checkers and table tennis were held at Urganch State University. The competitions were dedicated to the holiday "November 11 - Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan". It was attended by professors, teachers and employees working at the university.

At the end of the competitions, the winners were determined and the University Trade Union Committee presented the prizes.

Professors of Russian language and literature of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology actively participate in the "University First" sports competitions in chess, checkers and table tennis held at Urganch State University. In particular, the teacher of Russian language and literature Mahmudov Umid Reimbayevich won the first place in the table tennis competition and was awarded with a worthy gift by the committee of the university.
