On October 31, 2023, a scientific and methodological seminar was held by Atadzhanova Surayyo, a senior lecturer of the Department of English language and literature, Faculty of foreign philology. The speaker spoke on the topic '"The usage of interactive worksheets in the development and evaluation of reading skills" and stated  that the continuous assessment of the ( formative assessment) and self - assessment ( self-assessment) are one of the most basic tools for improving the skills of language learners. The scientific methodological seminar took the form of a debate, in which the participants also took an active part, expressing their opinion.
