On March 7, on the occasion of March 8 International Chitin Day, all teachers and workers of our faculty were invited by the professors and teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, Department of Uzbek Linguistics and Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology a holiday event was organized for the fawals. The men's team of the faculty of Uzbek philology congratulated the visiting fawals on the holiday and welcomed them with songs celebrating spring. During the event, interesting games, pantomimes and skits were staged for the women and girls who visited to spend the holiday in a meaningful and memorable way. In particular, at the event, the soloist of the "Yalla" ensemble Farrukh Zakhirov shared a good mood with everyone, besides, the performances of several foreign singers brought joy to the audience. During the event, Gafur Ghulam's story "Shum bola" was staged in today's modern interpretation. The rich father and his attendants presented the guests with holiday gifts for all of our lovely guests.

       At the end of the festive evening, several pedagogues-employees of the faculty, including Z. Ruzmetova, associate professor of the Russian language and literature department, S. Djumaniyazova, associate professor, G. Artikova, head of the Uzbek language and literature department S. Matkarimova expressed their sincere gratitude.
