The delegation headed by Zhang Chunlin, Deputy Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee of the People's Republic of China, visited Urgench State University

A delegation led by Zhang Chunlin, deputy secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee of the People's Republic of China, visited Urgench State University.

On May 25-26 of this year, a delegation led by Zhang Chunlin, deputy secretary of the party committee of Shanxi province of the People's Republic of China, is visiting Khorezm region. Today, this delegation visited the university in order to get acquainted with the activities of Urgench State University and establish cooperation.

During the visit, an official meeting was held with the Members of the delegation led by Zhang Chunlin, Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, and Wang Chenyu, Deputy Director of the Committee Secretariat  with participation of university vice-chancellors and deans under the leadership of Urgench State University Rector Bakhrom Abdullayev.

At the beginning of the conversation, Rector B.Abdullayev spoke about the current cooperation relations of Urgench State University with Chinese higher education institutions. He also introduced the guests to the establishment of Urgench State University and its comprehensive activities today. S.Khodjaniyozov, vice-rector for educational affairs, gave a presentation about the educational, scientific and innovative activities of the university, international cooperation relations, conditions created for students and professors, material and technical base, technopark, and educational and scientific-research laboratories.

As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to cooperate with Urgench State University and Shanxi University of China in the fields of exact and natural sciences, technology and agriculture. 

At the end of the meeting, the parties presented souvenirs to each other.
