Academic Seminar Conducted by Spanish Professor Pedro-Jose Torres Villarroya at UrSU
Today, May 26, the Department of Algebra and Mathematical Engineering at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Urgench State University hosted a high-level academic seminar led by an international guest scholar.
The seminar featured a presentation by Professor Pedro-Jose Torres Villarroya from the Department of Applied Mathematics at the prestigious University of Granada (Spain), who is currently visiting our university to foster international collaboration.
During his lecture, titled "Periodic solutions for the Lorentz force equation", the professor delivered an in-depth analysis of advanced mathematical approaches to finding periodic solutions for the Lorentz force equation. The presentation, highlighting critical problems at the intersection of differential equations and fundamental physics, sparked immense interest among the attendees.
The event was actively attended by faculty members, young researchers, master’s, and undergraduate students of the department. Following the presentation, participants engaged in a dynamic Q&A session and a fruitful academic discussion with the foreign expert.
Such international seminars serve as a vital cornerstone for enhancing our university's research capacity and integrating young scholars into the global scientific community.
