Rector Meets with the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics

Today, as part of a series of meetings across faculties, the Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrahimova, held another meeting with the staff of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector specifically highlighted that, in accordance with the positive conclusion of the prestigious German international accreditation organization ASIIN, six academic programs of the faculty have successfully passed international accreditation. It was emphasized that this achievement is a practical result of many years of effective work, consistent scientific activity, and the establishment of strong academic schools within the faculty. The Rector sincerely congratulated the teaching staff on this success and noted that this outcome significantly contributes to enhancing the international reputation of both the faculty and the university.

During the meeting, the Dean of the faculty, Rasulbek Sharipov, presented a detailed report on the current state and development indicators of the faculty.

In the course of the dialogue, the Rector highly appreciated the international research projects being implemented at the faculty, as well as the active participation of students in prestigious international olympiads. The importance of further expanding these areas, increasing the effectiveness of scientific research, and strengthening young people's interest in science was particularly emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, proposals and initiatives from the faculty members were heard, and specific practical measures were identified to systematically address existing challenges, strengthen the integration of education and science, and elevate the faculty’s activities to a new stage of development.
