Rector of UrSU became an honorary professor of Layonin Pedagogical University

Currently, Feruza Madrahimova rector of Urgench State University, is on an official visit to Liaoning Normal University in Dalian, Liaoning Province, People’s Republic of China.

At the beginning of the visit, F. Madrahimova met with Ms. Liu Hong, Party Secretary of Liaoning Normal University. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the organizational processes related to the establishment of a branch of Liaoning Normal University in Khiva.

During the visit, negotiations were held under the leadership of Li Yujun, Vice-Rector of Liaoning Normal University, with the participation of the Head of the International Cooperation Department, responsible officials, and directors of institutes within the university. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the essence of the trilateral agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Liaoning Normal University of China, and Urgench State University regarding the organizational processes of the Liaoning Normal University branch being established in Khiva, as well as the duties, powers, and obligations of the parties set out in the agreement.

As part of the visit, the China-Uzbekistan Symposium on Humanitarian Exchange and Mutual Learning among Regional Civilizations was held. At the symposium, the Rector of Urgench State University delivered a report on cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. During the symposium, Feruza Madrahimova was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Liaoning Normal University of the People’s Republic of China.
