The Regular Meeting of the Rector’s Council Was Held


Today, the regular meeting of the Rector’s Council was held under the chairmanship of Feruza Madrahimova, Rector of Urgench State University. At the beginning of the meeting, organizational matters were discussed. In particular, newly appointed administrative staff were introduced to the university community. Issues related to the university’s updated organizational structure and the publication of the book “UrDU: A Century of History”, dedicated to the history of the university, were also considered.

The agenda also included matters concerning youth employment and improving the effectiveness of targeted work with young people assigned to university administrators. The work carried out in this area was analyzed, and future tasks were identified.

During the meeting, vice-rectors presented reports and information on their respective areas of responsibility. In particular, discussions focused on the organization, implementation, and results of final examinations for the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as the Final State Attestation process for graduating students. Other issues considered included support for talented students and their nomination for prestigious scholarships, the implementation of the “Relevant 90 Days” action program aimed at ensuring meaningful and productive summer vacations, and the timely execution of tasks outlined within June – Youth and Anti-Drug Awareness Month.

At the conclusion of the meeting, specific instructions and assignments were given to those responsible for each agenda item, and the importance of ensuring the timely and high-quality implementation of all designated tasks was emphasized.
