A number of universities in Malaysia are offering scholarships for undergraduate and graduate programs in the academic year 2023-2024

The following universities in Malaysia are offering scholarships for undergraduate and graduate programs in the academic year 2023-2024:    

- University of Brunei Darussalam;

- Islamic University named after Sultan Sharif Ali;

- Brunei University of Technology;

- Brunei Polytechnic University.

The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, living, meals, international airfare and study materials, as well as health insurance and a scholarship.

Contest participants are subject to the following requirements:

- Candidates must be recommended by the government;

- Candidates age should be between 18 to 25 years for Bachelors and 35 years for Masters.

- The following certificates are required:

6-credit “O” level certificate in General Education Examination;

Grade "C" in the International General Secondary Education Certificate in English;

IELTS score 6.0;

A minimum TOEFL score of 550.

Applications are accepted until February 15, 2023.

The scholarship is intended primarily for international students studying for the first time in Brunei Darussalam. Bruneians, Brunei Permanent Residents and international students studying/ who studied in Brunei tertiary institutions are not eligible.
