Professors and teachers of the Institute of Germanic Studies of the University of Munster, Germany, visited Urgench State University

Today, on August 15, professors and teachers of  Institute of Germanic Studies of the University of Munster, which is ranked among the top 300 universities in the world ranking of Germany, visited Urgench State University. During the visit, an official meeting was held with the representatives of the Institute of German Studies under the leadership of the rector of the university B.Abdullayev with the participation of the university management.

At the beginning of the meeting, rector B.Abdullayev gave information about the current activities of Urgench State University, educational processes, international cooperation relations, activities in the scientific field, achievements and future plans.

It is worth mentioning that Urgench State University had signed an agreement with the German University of Münster in the field of scientific research and education within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding and the International Credit Mobility Project of the Erasmus+ program. Discussions were held on the further development of these cooperation relations in the future.  In particular, proposals were made by UrSU to organize summer schools for students in cooperation, to increase student exchange programs, and to publish scientific articles in cooperation.  It was also mentioned that in the 2024/2025 academic year, 2 students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology were invited to this university as part of the Erasmus+ international credit mobility project.

In turn, the guests expressed their satisfaction with the close cooperation with the Urgench State University and noted that the current professor-teacher and student exchange programs are bearing fruit today.
