International training on resource-efficient agriculture for Western and Central Asia has started its work

On August 26-30, based on the tasks defined in the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-233 dated June 24, 2024, "Creating a sustainable ecosystem in relation to climate change and the risks associated with climate change of agricultural producers in order to increase its flexibility" training seminars will be held in cooperation with the International CIMMYT organization.

Today, August 26, at the initiative of Urgench State University, the international training seminar on "Application of resource-saving technologies in agriculture" began its work at the "Fayz" hotel in Urgench. Indian experts of the International Wheat and Maize Development Center (CIMMYT), the Department of International Cooperation of Urgench State University, the dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences J. Ruzimov, faculty professors, doctoral students and masters, as well as , Khorezm Agro Service Center representatives and regional farmers are participating. The seminar was opened by G.O'razbayev, vice-rector for international cooperation. 

At the moment, lectures are being held on the topics included in the agenda.
