Today, on February 11, at Urganch State University named after Abu Raykhan Beruni, the final edition of the "Book lover student" competition, which is traditionally held in order to further increase the love of students and young people for books, and widely promote reading culture among young people, was held. It was attended by professors, teachers and students of the Faculty of Philology and Art. Participants in the competition competed in the works of Russian literature "Nakanune" by I.S. Turgenev, "Obychnoy istorii" by I.A. Goncharov, "The Brothers Karamazov" by F.M. Dostoyevsky, and "Dream or Journey to Gulistan" by Uzbek literature, "The Sultan" by Erkin Samandar. Jalaluddin", Togai Murad's "The Night of the Horse Whispered", and Said Ahmed's "Days of Hijran" competed.      
      The competition was held on the basis of two stages. Stage 1 "Skill of Annotation", stage 2 "Promotion" was considered as a condition. During these conditions, the participants stated their comments on the essence, idea and importance of the books recommended by the moderator, and carried out the process of promoting the culture of reading and reading. teaching: Russian language, the student of the 221st group, Y.
