Main responsibilities of the department:
The department maintains military records of the university’s military-liable professors and teachers, staff members, and male students.
Its duties include:
- during the hiring process, verifying the status of military registration documents of persons liable for military service and conscripts with the Department of Defense Affairs (DDA) at their place of residence, and not employing individuals who are not registered for military service until their registration issues are fully resolved;
- issuing Form F-26 certificates to full-time students when draft notices are received from the DDA, granting deferment from conscription;
- annually registering responsible staff members of the institution and persons liable for military service, as well as arranging their reservation (exemption) by sectors of the economy;
- notifying the DDA, in accordance with установлен procedures, about all newly hired and dismissed persons liable for military service and conscripts;
- regularly maintaining records of changes in family status, place of residence, and job position of persons liable for military service and conscripts, and entering such changes within seven days into personal record cards (Form T-2) and, if necessary, into Certificate Form No. 4;
- based on the annual report, preparing and submitting to the DDA information on the number of military-liable and reserved individuals among the university’s professors, staff, and students.
