Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs
Bachelor’s Program: 60540100 – Mathematics
The bachelor’s program is offered in both full-time and part-time (distance) modes of study under a credit-module system. The duration of full-time study is 4 years. The main goal of this program is to develop students’ mathematical thinking, modeling skills, analytical reasoning, and professional competencies. The program covers various fields of mathematics, including algebra, analysis, geometry, probability and statistics, mathematics teaching methodology, and computer mathematics.
Professional Fields of Activity:
- - Scientific research in mathematical modeling and computer technology
- - Development of algorithms and mathematical models for processes and systems
- - Application of mathematical methods in science, technology, economics, management, and education
- - Teaching mathematics in general, specialized, and professional educational institutions
Graduates acquire strong skills in digital technologies, algorithmic thinking, programming, and analytical reasoning, enabling them to apply mathematical knowledge effectively in practical work.
Master’s Program: 70540101 – Mathematics
The master’s program is conducted in full-time form under the credit-module system with a duration of 2 years. It belongs to the field of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics. Graduates of the master’s program gain in-depth knowledge and skills in fundamental and applied mathematics, conduct independent scientific research, build mathematical models, implement them computationally, and apply mathematical methods in natural and technical sciences.
Professional Fields of Activity:
- - Scientific divisions of the Academy of Sciences and research institutes
- - Higher education institutions and vocational colleges
- - Projects and models in fundamental and applied mathematics
- - Applied, technical, and economic projects based on mathematical methods
Master’s graduates master modern research methodologies, the theoretical foundations of mathematical analysis, function theory, and computer algebra systems.
Over its more than 30 years of activity, the Department of Mathematical Analysis has trained hundreds of highly qualified specialists, candidates and doctors of science, teachers, and researchers. Today, the department is recognized as a scientific school not only in Uzbekistan but also internationally. The department’s team continues to successfully address complex theoretical problems in mathematics, apply their solutions to practical fields, and inspire young generations to pursue science and research.
