Today, on February 7, the closing ceremony of the "Korean Culture" week, organized in cooperation with Korea's Soon Chun Hyang University, was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni. During this week, students and professors had the opportunity to get acquainted with Korean culture, language, and traditions.

The event was opened by Z.Ibragimov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations. In his speech, he touched on the importance of this cooperation and emphasized that such events serve to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two peoples.

In turn, the Korean guests expressed their gratitude for the warm and friendly reception.

The dean of the faculty of Foreign philology Z. Jumaniyozov; the head of the project, J. Ermetova; and the head of the Department of English Language and Literature, R. Abidova, took part in the closing ceremony and presented certificates and souvenirs to young Korean volunteers who actively participated in the project and their teachers.

In the artistic part of the event, beautiful performances glorifying Uzbek national culture and patriotism were presented by the students of the faculty of Foreign philology.
