Delegation of the Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited UrSU
Today, April 16, a delegation led by Li Zhengli, Deputy Director of the Institute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asian Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) visited Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. During the visit, an official meeting was held with the guests in the presence of the acting rector of the university S.Khodjaniyazov, vice-rector for international cooperation G. Urazbayev, head of the Department of History O.Abdullayev and other relevant officials.
In the meeting, the current activities of the university, cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, in particular, various projects, exchange programs and international seminars being implemented jointly with partner universities in China were discussed.
During the conversation, proposals were put forward to establish cooperation. Proposals were made to jointly organize international conferences on culture, history, and practical relations, as well as to organize summer schools or short-term scientific trips within the framework of the two organizations. Negotiations were held on creating favorable conditions for Chinese students to study at Urgench State University.
